French Poilu Uniform
Uniform Details

On the French Uniform, next to the VB Grenade Launcher can be seen its leather carry case.

The German has two Model 1915 grenades, closest to the rifle. The pull-lanyard on this type was exposed, held in a slot in the handle and taped in place. A wax plug provided an environmental seal inside the handle.
The other grenade is the more readily recognized Model 1917, also with a pull-lanyard (with a ceramic bead) but that was enclosed in the end of the handle, coverd with a screw cap.
